G&G understands the coordination required between agencies to meet public health requirements and state mandates for protecting groundwater and surface waters as mandated by the California State Water Resources Control Board. Applicable statutes and regulations include the California Water Code (CWC), California Code of Regulations (CCR), and California Health and Safety Code. Regional water quality control boards may also include recycled water use policies in their basin plans.

Reviewing blueprints and site plans for recycled water use
Conducting on-site audits for cross-connections
Developing test protocols and conducting shutdown tests to verify separation of potable and recycled water
Providing recycled water use supervisor training
Conducting approved shutdown tests
Offering regulatory advocacy
Performing annual on-site inspections
